A Volkswagen Beetle was traveling northbound on Douglas Drive when it was hit on the driver's side by a Harley-Davidson motorcycle traveling east on Mission Avenue

Oceanside, CA.– Three people were injured in a motorcycle crash in Oceanside early Saturday morning, according to the Oceanside Police Department.
The incident happened on Douglas Drive and Mission Avenue at about 2 a.m July 16.
According to the report, a Volkswagen Beetle was traveling northbound on Douglas Drive when it was hit on the driver's side by a Harley-Davidson motorcycle traveling east on Mission Avenue.
The motorcyclist, a 24-year-old man, and his passenger, a 23-year-old woman, were both ejected from the motorcycle.
The man had serious injuries while the woman sustained moderate injuries.
Both were transported to a hospital for treatment.
The driver of the Volkswagen, a 19-year-old Oceanside woman, was transported with minor injuries.
Police reported that the motorcyclist is suspected to have been impaired.
An investigation into the collision is ongoing.
