The Toyota collided with a 2012 Toyota Tacoma pickup truck driven eastbound on U.S. 12 by Richard J. Meyer, 71, of Kennewick

Walla Walla, WA.- Three people were injured in a crash between two vehicles near Walla Walla on Friday afternoon.
According to the Washington State Patrol, the incident took place on U.S. 12 and Wilbur Avenue at about 4:14 p.m. August 29.
The WSP reported that Kaelin K. Smith, 18, of College Place, was driving a 2000 Toyota Corolla northbound on Wilbur Avenue when she failed to yield to the right of way at the intersection.
The Toyota collided with a 2012 Toyota Tacoma pickup truck driven eastbound on U.S. 12 by Richard J. Meyer, 71, of Kennewick.
Smith was transported to Kadlec Regional Medical Center in Richland for treatement.
Meyer and his passenger, Sally J. Smith, 71, of Kennewick, were both taken to Providence St Mary Medical Center in Walla Walla.
There was no update on the conditions of the hospitalized patients.
The WSP reported that alcohol and drugs were not suspected in the incident.
The crash remains under investigation.
