El Cajon, CA. – Two people were trapped in a major injury accident that occurred Friday evening in El Cajon, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The crash was reported around 8:28 p.m. at Jamacha Road and Willow Glen Drive.
At least two vehicles were involved in the collision.
First responders found the vehicles blocking traffic lanes with two people trapped in them. The cars’ windows were broken to get the persons out.
The report said the crash resulted in major injuries but did not mention the exact number of patients and the extent of their injuries.
Authorities are investigating to determine the cause of the wreck.
