Boyle Heights, CA. – Two people were hospitalized, and a suspect was arrested after a police chase ended in a collision Sunday afternoon in Boyle Heights.

According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the crash occurred around 5:30 p.m. near the Fourth Street overpass at the 101 Freeway.

A driver wanted by police on suspicion of shooting and assault with a deadly weapon was being pursued by police when they collided with another car.

Two innocent people were taken to the hospital with unspecified injuries.

The suspect was apprehended by LAPD officers.
