Davis, CA. – Two people were taken to the hospital after a traffic collision that happened Sunday afternoon on a freeway in Davis, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The incident took place around 1:40 p.m. on the eastbound 80 Freeway, just east of Mace Boulevard.
Two vehicles were involved in the accident, CHP reported.
Emergency personnel responded to the scene and transported two people to the hospital with unknown injuries.
Both vehicles were towed away with front- and rear-end damage.
Authorities are investigating the cause of the collision.
