One person was airlifted by a CHP helicopter to Desert Regional Medical Center in Palm Springs
San Bernardino, CA. – Two people were killed and one other person was hospitalized after being injured in a collision on Tuesday morning near Ludlow.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened around 6:12 a.m. on westbound Interstate 40 near the Crucero Road/Ludlow exit.
A white semi tractor-trailer and a silver Dodge Caravan minivan were involved in the accident. The impact of the collision caused the Dodge minivan to overturn.
Two people in the minivan were killed in the accident.
One person was airlifted by a CHP helicopter to Desert Regional Medical Center in Palm Springs with unknown injuries.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
