Bakersfield, CA. – Two people were killed in a car crash on Sunday morning in Bakersfield.
According to the Bakersfield Police Department, the accident happened around 1:37 a.m. at the intersection of Stockdale Highway and Coffee Road.
Two vehicles were involved in the accident. The events leading up to the accident were not immediately determined.
Medical assistance arrived at the scene and pronounced a male passenger of one of the cars dead.
A critically injured female passenger of the same car was transported to the hospital, where she later died.
The driver and another passenger in that vehicle were hospitalized with moderate injuries.
The female passenger of the second involved vehicle was hospitalized with moderate injuries.
