According to the Pima County Sheriff's Department, the collision occurred on Orange Grove Road between La Cholla and Shannon.
Two cars collided on the eastbound side of Orange Grove Road near Faith Community Academy under unclear circumstances.
According to PCSD, two parties were injured and were taken to a hospital for treatment.
There was no update on the conditions of the hospitalized patients.
The eastbound side of Orange Grove Road was temporarily shut down following the incident.
The cause of the accident is under investigation.
