El Dorado County, California (October 24, 2022) – Two people were injured in a crash involving a wrong-way driver on Sunday evening in Placerville.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at around 8 p.m., October 23, on Highway 50.

The El Dorado County Fire Protection District responded to the scene of a collision involving a wrong-way driver.

Two people were injured in the crash and were transported to the hospital for treatment.
