Murrieta, CA. – Two people were injured in a multi-vehicle collision on Tuesday morning in Murrieta.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened around 8:15 a.m. at State Route 79 and Domenigoni Parkway.
A 45-year-old Murrieta resident was driving a Toyota Camry northbound on SR 79 when he rear-ended a Tesla driven by a 38-year-old woman.
The impact of the collision caused the Tesla to crash into a Volkswagen Jetta driven by a 23-year-old man.
The driver of the Camry was hospitalized with moderate injuries.
The Tesla driver suffered minor injuries in the accident.
