Sacramento, CA. – Two people were injured in a multi-vehicle accident that happened Monday evening on State Route 99 in Sacramento.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision occurred around 5:15 p.m. in the southbound lanes of the highway north of the Sutterville Road off-ramp.
Five vehicles were involved in the accident.
Two people sustained minor injuries in the crash. One of the patients was transported to the hospital for treatment.
The Nos. 1 and 2 lanes were briefly shut down following the collision.
CHP officers are investigating the accident.
