Pima County, AZ.- Two people were injured in a single-vehicle accident in Pima County early Sunday morning, according to the Pima County Sheriff's Department.
The crash was reported at around 2 a.m. on Arivaca Highway at mile marker 19.
According to the authorities, a Honda Accord traveling on the highway left the roadway and crashed into several trees.
The man driving the vehicle sustained minor injuries while his female passenger had major injuries.
Both patients were taken to a hospital for treatment.
The Pima County Sheriff's Department is conducting an investigation into the collision.
