Two cars collided under unclear circumstances on Province Way and Highway 111

Indian Wells, CA. – Two people were injured in a crash between two vehicles in Indian Wells on Tuesday afternoon, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.

The incident was reported shortly after 3:30 p.m. on Province Way and Highway 111.

Two cars collided on the highway under unclear circumstances.

One person was extricated from one of the involved vehicles.

According to fire crews, one person had major injuries while another suffered moderate injuries and both were transported to a hospital by ambulance.

Authorities are investigating to determine the cause of the incident.
