2 Airlifted to Hospital After Lancaster Accident on Highway 138

The California Highway Patrol said the collision occurred around 7:35 p.m. on State Route 138 near Old Ridge Route Road.

3-Vehicle Collision on Highway 138 in Lancaster Sends 2 to Hospital

Lancaster, CA. – Two people were airlifted to the hospital after a traffic collision that happened Sunday evening in Lancaster.

The California Highway Patrol said the collision occurred around 7:35 p.m. on State Route 138 near Old Ridge Route Road.

Los Angeles County firefighters responded to the scene and found a silver Ford F-150 pickup truck, a red Kia sedan, and a third vehicle involved in the accident.

The firefighters requested a helicopter to respond and airlift two patients. Highway 138 between Summit Pine and Qual Lake was shut down to allow the helicopter to land.

Two seriously injured patients from the same vehicle were airlifted to Antelope Valley Hospital in unknown condition.

Authorities are investigating to determine the cause of the collision.
