Lodi, CA – One person was killed and two others were injured after a head-on collision involving two vehicles on East Armstrong Road in Lodi late Friday night, according to the California Highway Patrol (CHP).
The crash happened around 9:47 p.m. on October 25, 2025, in the 2500 block of East Armstrong Road.
Investigators said the two vehicles collided head-on, causing severe front-end damage to both. The impact trapped the occupants, and rescue teams worked to free them before transporting the injured to a nearby hospital.
CHP incident logs indicate one of the vehicles, a white GMC pickup, came to rest on the right-hand shoulder after the impact.
One person was pronounced dead at the scene, while two others suffered major injuries.
Tow trucks were requested to assist in removing the wrecked vehicles from the roadway.
Authorities have not yet released the identity of the person killed, pending notification of family members. The roadway was closed for several hours as investigators documented the scene and cleared debris.
The California Highway Patrol is investigating the incident.
