According to the California Highway Patrol, the wreck was reported around 10:44 p.m. on westbound Highway 152, also known as Pacheco Pass Highway, just west of Lovers Lane.
Santa Clara County, CA. – One person died in a big rig collision that happened Monday night near Gilroy and Hollister.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the wreck was reported around 10:44 p.m. on westbound Highway 152, also known as Pacheco Pass Highway, just west of Lovers Lane.
A sedan crashed into a big rig car hauler under unclear circumstances.
The driver of the sedan was stuck in the vehicle after the crash.
About 20 gallons of gas spilled onto the roadway. The car hauler acquired a broken left front tire and a broken front axle.
One person was killed in the accident.
Authorities said another semi-truck was jackknifed near the scene but was not involved in the accident.
CHP is investigating the collision.
