Flagstaff, AZ.- A person was killed in a crash involving a Flagstaff Police Department vehicle on the city's east side early Saturday morning, according to the authorities.
The accident happened shortly after 7:30 a.m. September 20, on Butler Avenue.
A police officer was driving on Butler Avenue when, for an unknown reason, the police vehicle got into an accident with another vehicle.
Emergency crews performed life-saving measures on both drivers at the scene.
The man driving the second vehicle succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
The officer was transported to Flagstaff Medical Center for treatment of unspecified injuries.
There were no additional details on the accident.
