Fontana, CA.- One person was killed in a traffic collision that took place in Fontana early Sunday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.
At about 2:26 a.m. August 24, the CHP received reports of a multi-vehicle collision on the 210 Freeway, near the Beech Avenue exit.
The CHP reported that a gray Acura ILX sedan was traveling on the eastbound side of the freeway when it crashed into the rear of a burgundy Tesla.
The Acura was then hit on the driver’s side by a white Infiniti G Series car.
The driver of the Acura was pulled out of the vehicle and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
A passenger in the Acura was transported to a hospital with unspecified injuries.
The driver of the Infiniti was arrested on suspicion of DUI.
The California Highway Patrol is investigating the accident.
