San Francisco, CA. – One person was killed in a multi-vehicle collision that left another person critically injured on Sunday evening in San Francisco.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the deadly collision happened around 6:10 p.m. on Sixth Street between Bryant and Harrison Streets.
At least seven vehicles were involved in the collision. Authorities say a Waymo was operating autonomously when it was rear-ended in a multiple-car collision caused by a speeding vehicle.
One person was killed in the accident.
The deceased person was not immediately identified.
One person was seriously injured in the accident and was taken to hospital for treatment.
Six other people were evaluated at the scene by the San Francisco Fire Department crews.
