One person killed in two-car accident at Heacock Street and Ironwood Avenue in Moreno Valley
Moreno Valley, CA. – One person was killed in a car crash that left four others injured on Friday morning in Moreno Valley.
According to the Riverside County Fire Department, the fatal collision happened around 11 a.m. in the area of Heacock Street and Ironwood Avenue near the Moreno Valley (60) Freeway.
Two vehicles were involved in the collision.
Occupants of one of the cars were trapped in the wreckage and had to be extricated by the firefighters.
One person was pronounced dead at the scene.
Four other people were transported to Riverside University Medical Center for treatment of moderate to major injuries.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
