Highland, CA. – One person was killed in a collision that happened early Thursday morning in Highland.
The fatal collision happened around 4:52 a.m. on Interstate 210 Freeway near 5th Street, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The officers who responded to the incident found a Toyota Corolla with major front-end damage and an unresponsive pedestrian at the accident scene.
The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.
The identity of the deceased person was not immediately disclosed.
