A driver reportedly swerved into the path of oncoming traffic and collided head-on with a second vehicle
Maricopa, AZ.- One person was killed in a head-on collision in Maricopa on Friday night, according to the Maricopa Police Department.
The wreck took place on SR 347, just south of Sonoran Desert Parkway at around 8:15 p.m. on Friday, September 19.
A driver reportedly swerved into the path of oncoming traffic and collided head-on with a second vehicle.
Both drivers had life-threatening injuries and one of them was declared deceased at the scene.
The identities of the involved parties were not immediately available.
The crash is under investigation.
