Fontana, CA – A motorcyclist was killed Monday evening in an accident in Fontana, according to the CHP.
The deadly accident happened around 6:51 p.m. on September 8 in the number 1 lane of the northbound I-15 just south of Sierra Avenue.
CHP said a motorcycle crashed, and the rider was pronounced dead at the scene. The victim’s identity has not been released.
It was unclear if other vehicles were involved in the accident.
The accident closed all the northbound lanes of the freeway. The lanes have since reopened.
The CHP is investigating the accident.
