According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, the incident took place on Santa Monica Boulevard and North Orange Grove Avenue just after 1 a.m.
A yellow convertible crashed into the back of the bus for unknown reasons.
The convertible was badly damaged in the collision.
The driver of the car, whose name was not immediately released, was killed in the crash.
The condition of those aboard the bus was unknown.
The authorities are investigating to determine the cause of the accident.
