Orange County, CA. – One person died in a collision involving a garbage truck that happened Tuesday afternoon in Ladera Ranch, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The incident occurred around 2:18 p.m. on eastbound Cow Camp Road, just east of Antonio Parkway.
A garbage truck and possibly two other vehicles were involved in the accident.
The driver of the truck was possibly trapped in the vehicle after the crash.
Authorities responded to the scene and closed the roadway in both directions.
One person was pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities are investigating to determine the cause of the accident.
