Riverside County, CA — A motorcyclist died Wednesday morning following a crash near an intersection in Cherry Valley, the Riverside County Sheriff's Department reported.
The collision occurred around 6:30 a.m. near the intersection of Cherry Valley Boulevard and Roberts Street, just north of Interstate 10.
A motorcyclist traveling westbound on Cherry Valley Boulevard lost control and went down, according to the sheriff's department.
No other vehicles were involved in the incident.
Paramedics arrived and pronounced the man dead at the scene.
His identity has not yet been released pending family notification.
The intersection remained closed until about 11 a.m. as deputies conducted a preliminary investigation and cleared the scene.
