Vacaville, CA.- One person was killed in an accident in Vacaville on Tuesday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The incident took place on Interstate 80, on Tuesday, April 22.

According to the report, a Mazda was stopped blocking lanes on eastbound I-80 when it was rear-ended by an 18-wheeler.

The driver of the Mazda, a 58-year-old Stockton man, was killed in the accident.

The other motorist, a 59-year-old Pacifica man, stayed at the scene and cooperated with authorities.

The incident is under investigation.
