A man was driving a 1998 Toyota Corolla westbound on Washington Road when he failed to stop for a stop sign at the intersection and was struck on the left side by a Kenworth truck traveling north on Highway 59
Merced County, CA.- One person was killed in a crash with a big rig in Merced County on Friday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Authorities responded shortly before 6 a.m. September 26, to the collision on Highway 59 at Washington Road.
A man was driving a 1998 Toyota Corolla westbound on Washington Road when he failed to stop for a stop sign at the intersection and was struck on the left side by a Kenworth truck traveling north on Highway 59.
The Toyota driver was declared dead at the scene.
No other injuries were reported in the incident.
An investigation into the collision is ongoing.
