Pedestrian hit, killed by car at Port Chicago Highway and Riverside Drive in Bay Point
Contra Costa, CA. – A pedestrian died after being struck by a car on Sunday night in Bay Point.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened around 8:26 p.m. in the area of Port Chicago Highway and Riverside Drive.
A vehicle is reported to have struck a pedestrian in unclear circumstances.
Police say one person was killed in the accident.
The deceased person was not immediately identified.
