A Toyota carrying three people in their 20s was traveling at a high rate of speed when it failed to negotiate a curve

Fresno County, CA – One person died while two others were injured in a single-vehicle accident in Fresno County on Wednesday morning.
The California Highway Patrol were notified at about 1:30 a.m. about the incident on Auberry Road near Beal Fire Road.
A Toyota carrying three people in their 20s was traveling at a high rate of speed when it failed to negotiate a curve.
The car left the roadway and slammed into a tree, which then fell onto the roadway.
One of the passengers was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The driver and the second passenger were taken to a hospital with unknown injuries.
Auberry Road was shut down as authorities removed the tree from the roadway.
The crash is under investigation.
