A driver was traveling southbound in the northbound lanes of SR 27 when the vehicle collided with three other cars

Spokane Valley, WA.- One person was injured in a crash involving a wrong-way driver in Spokane Valley on Friday afternoon, according to the Washington State Patrol.
The wreck took place at about 2:56 p.m. September 5, on SR 27 near Indiana Avenue.
A driver was traveling southbound in the northbound lanes of SR 27 when the vehicle collided with three other cars.
One person was transported to a hospital with unspecified injuries.
The wrong-way driver was arrested on suspicion of DUI.
The crash caused the closure of the morthbound lanes of SR 27 as crews removed the crashed vehicles from the scene.
The WSP is investigating the accident.
