According to the California Highway Patrol, the wreck occurred at around 7:10 a.m. on the southbound 880 Freeway just north of Washington Avenue.
A silver Acura sedan collided with a black Honda for unknown reasons, causing significant front-end damage to the Acura.
One person suffered minor injuries in the wreck.
