, CA. – One person was hospitalized after a T-bone collision that happened Saturday afternoon near an intersection in San Ramon.

The accident occurred around 12:27 p.m. on Norris Canyon Road, just a quarter of a mile west of Bollinger Canyon Road.

A gray Mercedes SUV crashed into the side of a green Toyota Prius under unclear circumstances.

The San Ramon Police Department and the San Ramon Valley Fire Protection District responded to the scene.

One person was transported to the hospital with unknown injuries.

The SUV was towed away with moderate front-end damage, and the Prius with major right-side damage.

Authorities are investigating the cause of the collision.
