Fallbrook, CA.- One person was injured in a multi-vehicle collision in Fallbrook on Saturday night, according to the authorities.

The accident was reported at around 9:09 p.m. September 6, on South Mission Road near Hellers Bend.

At least two vehicles were involved in the collision in the northbound lanes of South Mission Road.

One of the vehicles rolled over on the roadway while the second ended up striking the guardrail on the side of the road.

The two motorists reportedly fled the scene after the accident but one of them was located shortly after and was taken to a hospital for treatement.

Both directions of South Mission Road were shut down as crews removed the damaged vehicles from the scene.

The California Highway Patrol is working to determine the cause of the accident.
