El Cajon, CA. – A child was seriously injured after being struck by a car on Monday morning in El Cajon.
According to a California Highway Patrol report, the accident happened around 8:21 a.m. in the area of Buena Vista Drive and S Barcelona Street.
A child reportedly ran in front of a vehicle in the area and was hit.
The pedestrian was seriously injured and was taken to hospital for treatment.
