The pickup truck driver was pinned in the vehicle and had to be extricated before being taken to the hospital

Bakersfield, CA. – One person was seriously injured in a Friday morning car crash in Bakersfield.
According to a California Highway Patrol, the accident happened around 8:53 a.m. on Highway 65 near Lerdo Highway.
A semi-truck and a pickup truck were involved in the collision. The events leading up to the accident were not released.
The pickup truck driver was pinned in the vehicle and had to be extricated before being taken to the hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
