According to the YCSO, a 2001 Ford Ranger was traveling eastbound on a dirt road when it tried to make a wide turn and collided with a 2007 Dodge Dakota heading north on Laguna Dam Road

Yuma, AZ.- One person was injured in a collision between two vehicles in Yuma on Friday morning, according to the Yuma County Sheriff's Office.
The crash was reported at around 10:35 a.m. October 24, near Laguna Dam Road and County 5 1/2 Street.
According to the YCSO, a 2001 Ford Ranger was traveling eastbound on a dirt road when it tried to make a wide turn and collided with a 2007 Dodge Dakota heading north on Laguna Dam Road.
The driver of the Ford, a 67-year-old Yuma man, had to be extricated from his vehicle.
Medics performed life-saving measures on the driver, before transporting him to Onvida Health with serious injuries.
The YCSO reported that DUI was not suspected to have played a role in the incident.
The investigation is ongoing.
