The deadly two-vehicle crash happened at about 5:30 a.m. on October 29 on Sierra Highway, just north of Vasquez Canyon Road, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Canyon Country, CA – One person was killed and another injured following a head-on traffic collision on Sierra Highway in Canyon Country early Wednesday morning.
The deadly two-vehicle crash happened at about 5:30 a.m. on October 29 on Sierra Highway, just north of Vasquez Canyon Road, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP said that two Ford Mustangs collided head-on, and one of the vehicles struck a pole.
Authorities said one person was declared dead at the scene. The name of the deceased victim was not immediately released.
One other person was transported to Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital in unknown condition.
Sierra Highway was closed for approximately five hours as officers investigated the incident.
