Stockton, CA – 1 Hospitalized after Rollover Collision on Interstate 5 near Fremont Street

Stockton, CA – One person was taken to the hospital after a rollover collision that happened Monday morning in Stockton, the California Highway Patrol reported.

The accident took place around 11:36 a.m. on October 5, 2026, on southbound Interstate 5 near the Fremont Street off-ramp.

A gray Honda Fit, a black sedan, and a white sedan were involved in the accident. One of the cars overturned onto its roof, and another car went about 50 feet off the roadway down an embankment.

Stockton firefighters and paramedics responded to the scene and transported one person to St. Joseph’s Medical Center for treatment of unspecified injuries.

Authorities are investigating the cause of the collision.
