Costa Mesa, CA – At Least One Person Hospitalized after Multi-Vehicle Collision on SR-73 and SR-55

According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident occurred around 5:21 p.m. on September 29, 2026, on State Route 73, just south of State Route 55.

Costa Mesa, CA – At least one person was sent to the hospital after a multi-vehicle collision that happened Tuesday afternoon in Costa Mesa.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident occurred around 5:21 p.m. on September 29, 2026, on State Route 73, just south of State Route 55.

Three vehicles were involved in the accident. Airbags were deployed in one of the cars.

Emergency personnel responded and transported at least one person to the hospital with minor injuries.

Authorities are investigating the cause of the crash.
