Berkeley, CA – 20-Year-Old Man Critically Hurt in Pedestrian Accident at Telegraph Ave. and Carleton St.

According to the Berkeley Police Department, the incident happened around 10:09 p.m. on September 25, 2026, at Telegraph Avenue at Carleton Street.

Berkeley, CA – A 20-year-old man was hospitalized with severe injuries after being struck by a vehicle Friday night near an intersection in Berkeley.

According to the Berkeley Police Department, the incident happened around 10:09 p.m. on September 25, 2026, at Telegraph Avenue at Carleton Street.

Police reported that the pedestrian was crossing Telegraph Avenue when he was hit by a car driven southbound by a 64-year-old Oakland woman.

Paramedics transported the pedestrian to the hospital in critical but stable condition.

The driver of the vehicle stopped and remained at the scene.

The Berkeley PD’s Fatal Accident Investigation Team is handling the investigation because of its severe nature.
