Los Angeles, CA – One person was hospitalized after two vehicles collided early Friday morning in downtown Los Angeles, authorities reported.

Around 12:59 a.m. on September 25, 2026, two vehicles collided on the westbound Santa Monica (10) Freeway to the Harbor (110) Freeway transition road.

According to the California Highway Patrol, a Ford Mustang and a Ford F-150 pickup truck were involved in the accident. One of the vehicles also hit attenuator sand barrels near the roadway divider, causing sand to spill onto the roadway.

One person was taken to the hospital with unspecified injuries.

The transition road was closed for an unknown period following the crash.
