According to CHP logs, four vehicles, including a white Toyota Prius and a black sedan, were involved in the pileup.

CHP officers, Oakland police, firefighters, and paramedics responded to the scene.

At least one person sustained serious injuries in the accident. The patient was hospitalized in unknown condition.
