According to WSP, Daniel A. Boggs, 27, of Dayton, was driving a gray 2015 Chevrolet Cruz westbound on Highway 12 when he drifted across the center line and crashed with an oncoming 2020 Peterbilt semi-truck.

Walla Walla, WA – A man from Dayton was killed in a crash involving a semi-truck on Tuesday morning near Walla Walla, according to the Washington State Patrol.
At about 7:03 a.m. September 15, authorities responded to reports of a collision on U.S. Highway 12 near milepost 342.
According to WSP, Daniel A. Boggs, 27, of Dayton, was driving a gray 2015 Chevrolet Cruz westbound on Highway 12 when he drifted across the center line and crashed with an oncoming 2020 Peterbilt semi-truck.
Boggs was killed in the accident.
Two minors in the Chevrolet were taken to Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane with unspecified injuries.
The operator of the semi-truck, Kevin R. Lewis, 67, of Milton-Freewater, was not hurt in the incident.
It’s unclear whether impairment played any role in the crash.
The WSP is conducting an investigation into the collision.
