Norwalk, CA – At least one person died, and several others were hurt in a semi-truck collision that happened early Thursday morning in Norwalk, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The crash took place around 12:09 a.m. on September 10, 2026, on southbound Interstate 5 near Rosecrans Avenue.
A big rig, a Ford Transit, and a white Honda were involved in the accident. The Honda overturned onto its side, sustaining all-round damage.
Firefighters and paramedics responded to the scene and found several people injured. One of the patients was offered life-saving measures at the scene.
At least one person died from injuries suffered in the crash.
The other patients were transported to UC Irvine Medical Center for treatment.
The vehicles were towed away from the collision scene.
CHP officers are investigating the cause of the crash.
