At around 3:59 a.m. September 4, authorities responded to reports of a collision on the Santa Monica (10) Freeway near the Harbor (110) Freeway interchange.
Initial reports indicate that a pedestrian was struck by a pickup truck in the westbound lanes of the 10 Freeway.
The pedestrian, who was not immediately identified, was killed in the crash.
The driver of the involved truck remained at the scene.
