Phoenix, AZ – A man was killed in a wrong-way collision that took place near an intersection in north Phoenix on Thursday evening.
According to the authorities, the wreck happened in the area near Beardsley and Cave Creek roads at about 7 p.m. August 20.
Authorities reported that a man was driving on the wrong side of the road when he was involved in a collision with another vehicle.
The man was ejected from his vehicle by the impact of the crash.
Medics rushed the man to a hospital, where he was later declared deceased.
Authorities identified the deceased driver as Sean McArthur, 30.
A woman driving the second vehicle and two children in her vehicle were all transported to a hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
According to authorities, the woman was not suspected to have been driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
The cause of the accident remained under investigation.
