Investigators reported that a gray sedan collided with a white hatchback in the westbound lanes of SR 240.
Kennewick, WA – Injuries were reported in a collision between two vehicles on Wednesday morning in Kennewick, according to a report by the Washington State Patrol.
The accident took place on State Route 240, just east of the Edison Street overpass, shortly before noon on Wednesday, August 19.
Investigators reported that a gray sedan collided with a white hatchback in the westbound lanes of SR 240. The exact circumstances of the accident were not immediately released.
The impact sent the sedan off the highway and into a ditch while the hatchback remained on the highway.
The WSP report indicates that there were minor injuries in the accident. The number of those injured was not specified.
Only one westbound lane of SR 240 remained open as authorities investigated the accident.
The Washington State Patrol is handling an ongoing investigation into the collision.
