Two men suffered major injuries, and a fourth person complained of pain

Sacramento, CA. – Dionicio Romero Flores, 34, has been identified as the man who died after a vehicle struck a group of pedestrians who were standing along eastbound Highway 50 in Sacramento on Sunday night, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The incident was reported around 11:36 p.m. on eastbound Highway 50, just beyond the Highway 99 transition near 34th Street.
CHP said four people had exited a vehicle and were standing on the right shoulder after the vehicle experienced a blown-out tire when they were hit by a passing vehicle.
Dionicio, a resident of Rancho Cordova, was killed in the accident.
