Tulare, CA – Major Injuries Reported in Two-Vehicle Collision on SR-63 near Pacific Avenue

Tulare, CA – At least one person was seriously injured in a two-vehicle collision that happened Monday morning in Tulare, the California Highway Patrol reported.

The incident occurred around 5:25 p.m. on August 17, 2026, on southbound State Route 63, just north of East Pacific Avenue.

According to CHP logs, a black Dodge Charger and a white SUV were involved in the crash, blocking the roadway.

A party reporting the accident told authorities that one car caught fire after the accident. All the vehicle occupants were able to get out.

Tulare police and firefighters responded to the scene shortly after the accident.

Paramedics said at least one person suffered major injuries in the crash.

An investigation is ongoing to establish the cause of the wreck.
